Swimming!

Term 1 swimming has come to an end. Here's what we look like in the water...even when Whaea Ata say's "I want to see your best swimming style." but some of us thought "nah, I just wanna win against the person next to me."

Kia maumahara tatou ki a ratou... We will remember them...

For the last week of term 1. We learnt a lot of new things about ANZAC Day - some facts, what poppies symbolise and the dates when this event took place. We also had the chance to bake some ANZAC biscuits...that actually turned into slices. BUT they still tasted really yum!

TWA hit the stage for Fiafia Night

An awesome night which celebrated the many cultures at our school at to also raise money for the year 8 trip to Rotorua towards the end of the year.

Can't wait for Kapa Haka nationals to kick off! Watch this space.

Nau mai, haere mai Robert Louis Stevenson school

The school put on a very special pōwhiri for 'Robert Louis Stevenson' School. We were very lucky to get the opportunity to do this an to share with them our culture through the powhiri and our performance. A very awesome day and one that will be remembered by all.
