Girls CAN play Rippa!
We started off this very cold and rainy week off with a bit of Rippa. Our instructor taught us a few passing techniques and finished off with a very fun and exciting game. Something we need to work on is our 'forward passing' we seem to always think we're on a netball court and pass the ball forward.
Check out our photos.

Getting ready for change!
Our body is in the process of developing some new changes. During week 3 a majority of us learnt about these changes. Some parts were really gross and some were actually pretty interesting. Thanks Robyn and Lucy for sharing your knowledge.

Whaea Carol heads to Europe!
Last week the girls in Kahu presented Whaea Carol with a beautifully made korowai. We each coloured in 1, 2 or more than 2 feathers to be placed on this korowai. This was created to help keep Whaea Carol safe while she is on holiday in Europe. We can't wait to hear all about your trip when you get back Whaea Carol.
Nga mihi aroha,
Ngā kōhine Kahu.

And the letters are finally off!
Last term Whaea Ata informed us that Mātua Tuiono (a pervious teacher from our school) was missing our school, in fact, he was missing the whole of Manurewa. Mātua Tuiono taught some of us a few years ago but, this year he decided to move down to New Zealand's earthquake city of Christchurch to study more about Te Ao Maori (The Māori World). We're not too sure how he is doing down there so, we thought, what better way to find out how he's doing then to ask him some questions and write him these letters.
Enjoy your letters Mātua and we can't wait to hear back from you!
